Labor Day Weekend 2008 - What are your plans?

Well it's Labor Day Weekend 2008, a very popular holiday weekend for America as a lot of people see this as the un-official end of summer. It's a time for kids to go back to school and for adults to adjust our mindsets and our plans knowing fall will soon be upon us and followed by winter and everything that entails.

So... what are you doing this weekend?

Working? Or spending time relaxing with family and friends?

Does anyone have a detailing project they're going to tackle?

Well if re-attaching my front bumper and changing all the oils and spark plugs and brakes in the Jeep is considered detailing, then yea.

After that I'm going to start removing all those lovely scratches in the paint.

I have a bonfire to go to on Saturday night and school starts on Tuesday.

Saturday and Sunday with my family. Monday hopefully I will be detailing my buddies truck.

Everyone have a great one and don't work too hard if you do have to.

No fun.....Saturday, I am cleaning rugs!

Hopefully.....I will get to work on at least one of my vehicles this weekend.

Other than that, who knows. Probably some impromptu barbecue somewhere. Maybe Mikes house?

Hopefully going to the Auburn-Cord-Duesenburg festival & Kruse Classic car auction. If I do I will post pictures next week. Oh, and I will the cars also. Thats a given isn't it?

I am going down to my Mom's in Petaluma, CA. Haven't seen her since before Christmas. We plan on going to San Francisco for shopping and fun (been working tons of OT for this). Plan on going to Pier 39, or some other fun stuff. On the way down we are goint to stop in Redding, CA. There is a PBE shop that says they stock allllll of the Meguiars MG/Detailer line

We are leaving Sunday and coming back Wednesday. I have to work Saturday night So, I'll sleep on the way down when I get off work.

Can't wait, working all that overtime bout killed me. I don't do it much since I've been older (gonna be 40 in a few months), it was easy when I was in my 20's. LOL.

Whatever you do, I pray for a safe and fun journey!

Last weekend of the summer. The boat is going in the lake for the last time. A few more months before sled season starts!!

I'm taking tomorrow off and making a 4 day weekend! Every year we have a big BBQ at the house, basically my wife's family and some old family friends so about 30 people in all. Historically this has been the hottest day of the year to boot (a couple of years ago it was something like 112 degrees F - UGH!) but this year it should barely touch 80 so we are really happy about that.

Of course I'll be working on my cars as much as possible the other three days!

My Makita arrives Friday...I'll be doing a little final research, and then Sunday I have a job booked with my neighbor for his 2005/2006~ Silver Nissan Titan. He has MASSIVE over spray; the truck sits outside, belongs to a contractor, NEVER EVER gets even washed, let alone waxed, and he's been side swiped twice.

Sunday, I shall unleash my fury in the form of my detailing at my finest with the help of Meguiar's and the recent advanced class in hopes of a wondrous victory! Pics will follow.

i plan on giving the cadi a wash and UQD. then on to the wifies car thats needs a wash and wax and maybe then some
