  • Brett Favre! Brett Favre! Brett Favre!

Okay, I'm sick of it! My alarm clock goes off to wake me up with a radio station, it's news about Brett. I can't watch the weather in the morning because all that's on the news is Brett Favre! I have the radio on in my Jeep to a different station on the way to work, more Brett! I go to lunch, and all the talk is about Brett.

So is anything else happening in the world or is this it.

Anyone have any thoughts on the whole fiasco?

He announced that he is going to retire.

If he wants to stay in football, be an announcer or volunteer as a coach for a high school. Or, stay on and be quarterback coach or something.

I am sick of hearing about it too. Like the guy and he did good for GB but, c'mon!

Re: Brett Favre! Brett Favre! Brett Favre!

With how well he played last year and the amount of money left on his contract, there's no way he should retire. However, I'm sick of the annual Brett Favre watch - will he or won't he retire? This guy has more build up than Punxsutawney Phil. There's so much more to talk about, like the Steelers.

Today a helicopter followed him from the stadium to his house. They said on the news it was like the OJ bronco chase. I should drive by his house after work and see the media zoo. lol

I thought everyone in Green Bay was Packer crazy?????

                Don't you want him back????

I put all of this on the Packers organization..... you would have never seen this type of thing happen in Miami or Denver with their Hall of Fame QB's. The Packers should be over joyed he wants to come back and play.

Myself, I would love to see him go to Minnesota and get the hell out of there.... they (Packers) obviously were/are happy to see him go.

I liked him until now. Your a grown man. You made the decision to retire. The organization made there plans accordingly. Now the itch is back. Too bad. Then if you can't be the starter in Green Bay, trade me to a devision rival? Are you nuts. Go back to Louisiana and go fishing. You made up your mind. You retired. Now stay home. I feel better now.

All in all I think he should have just been able to come back. I think the whole thing is just getting to be a huge mess. If funny and scary listening to people talk how mad they are. I was joking with a coworker that I wanted to write "Send Favre Home" on my Jeep and park at the stadium. We wondered how long it would take before it was totaled.

AGREED 100%!! This is just going to ruin his name in the eyes of some people. I also think that he needs to show some respect to Aaron Rodgers. I've seen him play, met Rodgers in person when he went to Cal becuase my dad is an Alum. He is a good kid, and he can sure as hell play. Brett this, Brett that, Brett i dont give a flying fig. Man up, grow up, and get on with life

Re: Brett Favre! Brett Favre! Brett Favre!

If he had a change of heart 3-4 months ago, fine come back. He sent his letter to the league. He is retired. Period. The Green Bay Packers and the NFL are not your personnel play toys. Decisions were made, millions spent according to his decisions.

At least when Jordan retired he stuck it out for a while. Not just a couple of months like Brett. Brett's retirement did not even make it thru training camp.

Now the locals down here say this is his most likely destination. You have got to be kidding me.

Cowboy fan, living in NYC (yes 3Fitty hates the Giants) but we were talking about him about two weeks ago and the consensus in the office was that what he has done is pretty terrible. Most of the NYC papers have been killing him as being selfish and detrimental to the team and game.

Read this article on him and see how many in the Northeast are looking at him. http://www.northjersey.com/sports/je...t_selfish.html

I heard he caught a 22 pound large mouth bass in Lake Fork, Texas.
