Thanks a lot, this forum is too cool, how we give to one another. My wife saw me box up my old W64DA(the old DA backing plate) and mail it to another member who needed it. I told her, eh was goes around comes around on the good side too .

The kit is nice, I like the QWD and can't have enough QD and I use the QID as a duster prior to dressing in the interior if it's not too dirty.

I did get my box from the survey too, it leaked a smidge but not too bad.

I got mine! I'd forgotten about it a couple times until I came home and saw it. Poor Dad happened to be there when I opened it so he had to listen to my monologue about why I think Meguiar's is a great company. Lol

When mine came I had totally forgotten about it. My wife saw the fedex truck and asked if I ordered anything. Once she saw the Meguiar's logo on the shipping box She looked at me and was about to say some kind of wise ______ comment until I said it was free of answering a survey. Then she was cool about it. She tells me all the time I have to much detailing stuff every time I place a new order.

My wife don't mind me ordering/purchasing stuff so long as we have the money, she reminds me of what bills are due and I go "****" LOL.

I did just do a minor order from ADS and can't wait for it.

BlueZero (Scott) sent me some Nano Seal, Barrier Reef & PB's Natty Blue for my wax shootout and sent me some #83 because he saw I was looking for some.

Porschebuy997 (Chris) is also sending me some sample waxes for my test. Real good dudes all around on this forum!

I really like the quik wheel detailer. What a breeze to use. Thanks again Meguiars for the gift for participating in the survey.

I just received my free gift as well.

Anyway, J.A. Michaels, is it recommended to wax the wheel first to get most out of this product, just like you need to wax the car and use the quick detailer in between washing?

Also will I have any problem if I over-spray this product to the tires and fender. I don't have a garage and I detail my car outside so there's constant wind blowing while cars pass by.

I do not know if its recommended to wax the wheels before using. I always wax my wheels when I wax the vehicle. So maybe for me it is a breeze using the qd for wheels. Maybe someone else who doesn't wax his wheels can chime in. By the way, I use 321 v1.0 for the wheels.

I got that gift about 3 months ago. My wife thought I bought some more car care products, but I told her I got it from the survey. I got the Quik Wheel Detailer, Quik Detailer, Quik Interior, and Supreme MicroFiber.
