My dad took these pictures of his Z4 a week ago today; he came out of the office to find this had happened:

I apologize for the pictures not being better quality, but he was taking it with a Cell phone camera.
I saw it and just felt so bad for my dad. That car is his baby, a daily driver that he loves. When he came out and found the bike had fallen over into his car, he said he was on the verge of crying.
Fortunately, we have one of the best body shops in Southern California working on it, a place called Phillip Thorle's Autowerks. They said that if they don't need to replace the door on the car where the bike hit it, it could be done in 5 business days. If not, it may be 8-10 business days. And seeing some of the pics of other customers' work leads me to believe these guys know what they're doing. They're also the only authorized body shop in San Diego County to do work for Jaguars, and seem to be really, REALLY good.
I'm just going to have to warn my dad not to wax the painted areas, at least not until the paint cures.
BTW, this bike was not parked in a legal space.
