  • I FINALLY was able to bring her home.

So after about two years I finally could take my beast home....where it will sit for about another year....lol..but this time it will be coverd!! She was sitting out at El Toro Marine base for about two years because I just didnt have the room at home. I went to go start her up thinking she was going to have a siezed block or the fuel was going to be completely bad, but the only thing wrong was the amount of dust and a couple rotted out fuel lines. Had to replace them out there and then drove her to the new home.

I'm trying to go to Wyotech right now so I cant spend any money on her until I get back. So I am going to wash her up next weekend and call it a day.

Oh, and if any of you remember the wonder wild fires that took over most of SoCal the other year, she was right in the middle of most of it so she had a coat of ash on the cover and in a bunch of other places it found its way into.

Good luck with her. She will be a great vehicle when you are all done.

1973 was a great year for the Ford Ranchero... plenty of chrome and nice body lines.

You're making me want to get one...

Boy that sure brings back memorys. In 1973 I bought a brand new Gran Torino Sport, Ivey Glow Green, 351 4v. It had everything, paid 5019.00. Looking at the front of your Ranchero, looks just like mine. So thanks, for the memorys.
