FYI... I am not a sue happy person. Never sued anyone for anything before. I only took the steps I have because of the way Nissan ( dealer and corp ) have treated me. So one day I heard a commercial on the radio for this lemon lawyer so I called. They kept calling me back to pursue a case so I finally said wha the heck, it wont cost me a penny and maybe I'll get the paint corrected.
So again thx to all for recommending Andy. He's gonna hook me up one day in the near future...
    Dave,

It was a pleasure to meet you today. You are not "crazy" you are just "car crazy" which most of us here are. I do think we can eliminate some if not all of the issues that you see. Like I said when you are finished with Nissan, I would definately like to help you take care of your vehicle. We will do it together and in the spirit of "each one, teach one" we will get it done.

    Andy

Just an update. I talked to David last night and I am going to take a look at his vehicle in the very near future. I will take my camera and if it is OK with him I will post some pictures so you can all see it. Unless David could post some here. Either way, I will try to help him out if I can.

Sounds good. I'd like to see what kind of defects you have.

I guess I also take for granted how lucky I am to have built some knowledge of paint correction.

Sorry you're having to go through all of this David. I hope that you can get it corrected to you specs without anymore grief.

the factory bakes at temps above 200 deg f. No trim or thin plastic , just the shell.body shops bake at around 165 deg f.
Car haulers have body shops all along there routes to the dealerships to handle mishaps so the dealer has no knowledge of the repair lower bake temps = softer paint finishes and will chip and scratch easier.
Ports have very large body shops to handle import vehicle mishaps. Measuring film build will point out areas of correction to mfg paint.
THX. When the case was started, the atty,s office sent out a " paint expert " and he measured the thcikness with some sort of guage and he said it had not been repainted anywhere. His final report was very interesting to read. THX for the info.

I just have a question, Nick, how in the heck did ACP+ do that to that seat? Looks like a spill or something.

Still have no idea. It's a mystery
