    Anyone want to send me a sample...

    So I was thinking about doing a "wax shootout" on the hood of my wife's CR-V, only to be honest I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on various waxes I wasn't going to use in the future, so I thought of a good way around it...

    Although most here are Meg's users I know we have the odd member who has other favorites they prefer over NXT 2.0 or any other Meg's waxes.

    So here is the deal... I'm trying to see if I can get 3 or 4 members to send me a TINY sample of their favorite (enough to do a 1' x 1' area or close to it) so that I can do a showdown.

    Anyone interested?

    If so, send me a PM and we'll discuss logistics. Couple of things though...

    1. I've got Meg's NXT 2.0, NXT 1.0, Gold Class and Cleaner Wax but I am ONLY going to text NXT 2.0 of all the Meg's waxes because it is my personal favorite.

    2. Don't offer to send OTC waxes because I'd like to compare the so called "boutique" brands vs. Meguairs.

    3. Don't send Zaino because everyone will gripe "that I didn't follow the Zaino process" and I'm sorry but I'm NOT using dishwasher soap on my car.

    Having said that... if I can collect 5 samples (NXT 2.0 + 4 others), I'll run a test over 8-12 weeks. I'll try to include video as well.

    Possible LSP's... Collinite, Souveran, P21's, Klasse, Sonus etc...

    Any takers?

    I have some Klasse All-In-One. Or are you looking for just LSP's and not all in one products. I'll have to look in my stash to see what else I can find. If I'm sending one sample I'd rather send more. The shipping is the expensive part.

        Against just LSP's I don't think it would be fair. I reread your post, I was thinking you mentioned Meguiar's cleaner wax. But you said you wouldn't be using that. My eyes moving faster than my brain can comprehend again. lol

        I know I have some Natty Blue, not sure what else I have to be honest. I'll look when I get home and give you a list. Your welcome to a sample of anything I have.

          2. PB's Natty Blue (from Blue Zero).

                  I didn't want to compare Meg's vs. Meg's stuff and I'm hoping to stick to sealant vs. sealant, although Collinite 845 is a really "hyped" product that promotes awesome protection, so lets definitely add it to the list.

                  1. NXT 2.0 (me)

                  2. PB's Natty Blue (Blue Zero) + looking into others

                  3. Collinite (PorscheGuy997) + maybe VC Red & CG's #53.

                      Okay, off to a good start. Any other contributors??? Want to put up your favorite wax/sealant to the test?
