Re: The latest picture of my Mustang, Maguiarized
You need to resize your photos to a smaller dimension. Our software allows us to block to large of a file size and file dimension.
For use on the Internet, 800 pixels wide is usually more than good enough. Thought I saw you were already using Easy Thumbnails when I looked at the file path for the image?
it starts with a tn_ which is the default file name which stands for thumb nail
There's a thread on this forum that shows you how to resize your photos using Easy Thumbnails, it's actually petty easy.
How to resize your photos before uploading (http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=879) Now that you have successfully cropped out the extra scenery and have focused your readers attention on the primary subject in the photo, let's see how to resize your photo for maximum effect while using minimal resources.

Re: The latest picture of my Mustang, Maguiarized
Here's the code for your thumbnail photo in your gallery,
Picture
Code
http://archive.meguiarsonline.com/fo...post/data/500/tn_D_s_nascar_truck_alexanders_Tbird_021.JPG
In the settings file for where the tn_ you can just delete this extra bit of code or add something that means something to you, for example when I resize photos for the forum I usually resize to 700 pixels wide, that way I know everyone around the world will be able to see the picture on their monitor.
If I make a smaller size of the same photo, for example for use on the homepage, I would change the width setting to something like 400 and the file name from tn_ to 400_
Now I know by looking at just the file name of the picture it's 400 pixels wide and when I create it, it won't over-write the pictures I just made at 700 pixels wide.
This is all addressed in the how to article for Easy Thumbnails.

Now click the Settings tab.

Re: The latest picture of my Mustang, Maguiarized
I was using easy thumbnails on my other comp but I do not think i was using it correctly so I will read the directions and go from there. My laptop does not have easy thumbnails. I am going to download it to the lap top.
Thanks a lot Mike I really appriciate your help.

Now Right Click on this picture, (the full size picture), and snag the URL Address and then go back to your message box and above where you type your message look for this picture and click on it. This one,
Now copy and paste the URL Address for the picture into the window box that opens up when you click on the picture icon and hit the Okay button and it will make your picture appear just like I made this picture appear.

Re: The latest picture of my Mustang, Meguiarized
Have any of you guys notice the color difference between my door and left front fender? The guy that owned it before me only repainted to parts of the car and left the rest what the original coor was. I would repaint it but The other side has history to the car. Infinion raceway pace car paint scheme. I have a decal that says Sears Point raceway.
That is some history about my car because ,most of my friends make fun of my car because it is faded.Alex
