The crew stuck with it till they knew that they could due nothing more to save the air craft. They ejected a split second before the left wing contacted the ground. Totally amazing video. Good find.

I work with a guy who worked on that particular B2. The Spirit of Kansas.
He was saddened when he heard. The crew did their best.
We see the B2 all the time. Amazing aircraft.

A while ago a F-18 crashed right behind my house. The pilot ejected and walked up to a house in my neighborhood to get help. It was pretty lucky that the plane didn't land on any houses, not 1.4bil, but an airplane that costs hundreds of millions still is a lot of money that is destroyed

No joy in watching that.
When something like that happens and someone takes joy in pointing out the negatives with glee...

It flat burns me up!
