  • My Product Collection

I know there have been threads here and there about product collections and I have never really joined in. Since my power went out from the fires and I just got this order in from ADS:

I figured I would see what I actually had and reorganize and take some pictures. There were a few things missing (IIRC, ONR, 2 bottles of NXT Speed Detailer, 1 can of NXT Tire Cleaner, and the 2 bottles Rain-X. I know there are more...) and I just gave away a handful of things to my parents. No single bottle was photographed twice and these are products only, no equipment like brushes (have at least 2 of every one that was made), mitts, towels...

    Detailer Line Products

Most of the Mirror Glaze Products

    Car Washes

    "Quik" Products

    Consumer Line Paint Products

    NXT Line

Everything else, including a few Mirror Glaze Products

    My rarer Meguiar's products

    Non-Meguiar's

All I am missing now is D151!!!

How do you like the Eagle One products? They are starting to take over my local Wal-Mart and the labels all sound good but do they live up to the words? I would be interested in what your opinion is.

              Thanks,
              Ryan

                Re: My Product Collection

I love 'em. IMO, they are very good products as well. They are aimed at the average consumer, but still work great! Meguiar's basic consumer products are on par, but for whatever reason, I like EO for quicker details/washes like I always usually do on my truck. For the most part, EO is all I use on my truck.

                • A2Z Wheel and Tire Cleaner IMO is probably the best OTC product for cleaning tires. It works really well on wheels too. I like the aerosol foam version much better than the trigger bottle.
                • The Nano Protectant leaves a very nice factory look. I like the smell too.
                • Nano Wash and Wax...what is there to say. It does what it is supposed to.
                • Wax As U Dry- I always use this after washing.
                • Nano Spray Wax- Works just like applying the Nano Wax. I use this to boost the wax that is already there. It is quick too- spray it on and work it in. No wipe off. Makes super tight water beads.
                • 20/20 Glass Cleaner- great stuff. Always comes out crystal clear.
                • Wipe and Shine- your basic QD.
                • Nano Wax- fills in swirls, no cure time after removal. It does take a little longer to dry, but comes right off. I like to apply a coat of this, then follow up with a coat of the spray wax.
                • Nano Polish- works pretty good for shining things up (chrome or already polished metal). Definitely not for any sort of heavy duty polishing though.

Like I have always said, if Meguiar's wasn't around, I'd be using EO. I just don't have their tire shine because as you can see above, I have plenty still. Meguiar's is still the top dog though IMO, as you can see!

                  Re: My Product Collection

I guess there is only so many ways to label a product, but the products definaetly look similar as well between Meguiars and Eagle 1.

                      Looks good!

Did you take the spring out of the gallon pumps? That works better for me too.

I didn't, but that is a really good idea! I have to close them so they will fit where I store them and closing them is a pain in the butt.
