Thats "Murphy's Law" right. Whenever you work hard on something, like your car. It seems the worst possible thing happens to it. The birds, freak rain storm. Whatever road you take are puddle filled, etc. Thats always been the way with me. lol

I took one last look at the car as I entered the store and thought "WOW, I have the best looking shine in the lot!" We went in for about an hour and shopped. When we came out, a flock of seagulls had dumped on every horizontal panel and window. The car was a complete mess! I was so ticked off and went home and had to rewash the car. My wife thought it was very funny but of course I didn't. I now use the reverse psychology approach!

This is too funny! Mental picture, jajaj

Hey Rasky, I wasn't trying to steal your thunder and was just relating what happened to me in a similar situation. I do not drive behind garbage trucks, cement trucks or dump trucks! After 35 years of driving you learn what to avoid! Hope there was no damage from your encounter! Of course being on MOL you know how to fix it!

This morning, very early I was on my way to pick up my mother-in-law. As I was making a turn, there was a garbage truck spitting out its water on the side. This is the post I thought of. It gave me a good chuckle.

Yup. Just like it is almost a guarantee that after every time I personally wash my car and care about it it will rain within 24 hours even if rain is not in forecast. Next time there is a drought in Southern California people should just give me a call "Zoran, don't you think you should wash your car? It looks kinda dirty and you do want to take your girlfriend out in a clean car on weekend." I can almost guarantee that within 24 hours it will not look dirty, it will be instead covered in mud from pollution that rain brought down. But only if I have something coming that I care if car is clean.
