Anyone Paintball?

I finally played paintball this weekend. It was a blast! Just wondering if anyone is an avid player. I've been surfing guns and equipment all morning. I want to go back and play again.

I use to play every other weekend but it got too expensive so I sold all my gear. I had two guns. One was a Kingman Spyder the electronic & the other was a WGO Autococker. Both great markers but had too many problems with the autocoker & the air lines coming off during games. Constant tuning required. Great fun though I would love to be able to get back into it.

I could see where it would get expensive. It was $45 to rent the gun but then $64 per 2000 paintballs, we used up 10,000 paintballs in about 4 hours with 8 guys. I'm thinking if I end up going more than a few times it would make sense to buy my own gun.

I'm already sending out emails trying to get another outing planed.

I did. I have a brand new electronic marker I bought stuff for and never used it. I have no idea where it is...

I got my son and I some Tippman 98's for Christmas. We've played 4 or 5 times. It's great fun but can get pricey

My brother is the manager of a paintball & army surplus store. He also acts as a ref on games sometimes and plays at least each month. Me, I play about once per 3 years.

I own a Zeus chrome pistol, bought used for the purpose of pinching a dog who pooped in front of my window regularly.

I bought an Airsoft gun to solve the cat problem with them getting near/on my car. Worked wonders. I don't think I ever actually hit a cat, but I guess the noise of it and something almost hitting them did the trick. My friend bought one as well and shot himself in the foot with it to see if it hurt

And before anyone takes that way out of hand, I love cats and have 6 of them. There is a line that has to be drawn on property rights and damage control though; i.e.- off the paint, lol.

A few years ago I saw some Airsoft guns in the store but didn't take a second look because I figured the pellets where plastic and would just make a mess and never breakdown. Just did some google searching and see that they make biodegradable pellets. That would be sort of fun to shoot around the yard. Wonder if the neighbors would call the police, those guns look pretty real. Wonder if that would work to keep the squirrels and rabbits away too.

I use to play every weekend until every one decided to leave due to RL and amongst other things.

I play air soft. I have a couple of Co2 guns that are semi automatic. A couple of rifles and a lot of BBS It is great fun instead of sitting on the couch playing vidoe games.

I actually have been playing almost every weekends for the last 4 months. I lucked out in cost seeing that one of my high school buddies is the one who owns the field. I see dropping $250 to $300 a weekend to play. I want to start spending more time working on my car though. I just need something to do to it.
