    Batting 500

    Gang,

    I have now given you 500 of replies, post's, questions, answers, a joke or two since August 30th of 2006 on this site and.....a few on the old (new) site.

    It's been fun and continues to be fun and informative.

    My goal this year, money prevailing is to attend an Open Garage and meet some of you artists. Then attend an Advanced class in the future.

    A lot has happened since I joined.

    I had the oppurtunity to win the old monthly prize of the G100 and gift certificate. Hurt my back and couldn't test it for a while. Back is fine.

    Been working out lately. Got Dunlap disease (belly dunlapped over my belt buckle) lost 10lbs and a couple of inches on the waist. I may be diabetic and going to the doctor next week. Blood sugar level is high and worried about it.

    Polished my Neon to a 95% swirl free only to have it get dirty 40 miles down the road on the way to Reno. It still looks good but needs some touchups.

    Got promoted to Corporal (or at least got the stripes with a new Captain), been doing the job itself since 99, but our old Captain didn't know what to do with the Corporal stripes, so the new Captain said here Lt. give these to the training officers. Wa la

    Not much else happening. Got to mow the lawn this weekend. I may do my sisters Acura CL type S this weekend, not sure.

    I'll be 40 next year. DOH. thats okay, the wife is 42 and she's OLD!

    Congratulation on your promotion at work. I seem to be getting closer to the Dunlap problem too. Need to get my behind to the gym.

    I kinda feel bad your first post on got one reply.

          I just clicked my name in the home page roster and click on "find all posts by..." and it starts with the last post you started. Also has find all posts option too.

            Thanks a bunch. I freaked out when that happened. My face went numb. I couldn't wait to get it. Now I think I do pretty good with it. Just need more pads and product now.

              Congrats on the milestone, Aaron! It's always nice to see familiar faces...er... names when I log on, just as it is to see more and more new people joining up. It is fun when you can transition from always asking questions to actually answering some, isn't it?! I always get a kick out of watching people learn and develop their skills and confidence.

                Aaron congrats. Your have been thru alot. I also remember when you won the monthly drawing. I was so happy that you won. Always look for your posts. Your a good guy. Glad to consider you a friend on the forum. Keep up the good work. Congrats on the promotion at work. Way to go.

                    Congratulations on your 500th post, your promotion, & on losing 10 Lbs. Hope you are not diabetic, although it is easier to control than it used to be. And 40 nor 42 is old, Wait until you near the 60 mark like I am coming up on in a couple of months. LOL

                        Thanks Mike, I do take pride in with what I want to tell others. As a training officer, I've been told I was one of the better ones with detail to work instead of how fast one can do it. We have a lot of laws and report to a lot of different agencies when just simply booking someone on charges into the Jail and speed can cause a major goof up if something is forgotten or done incorrectly.
