Anyone seen the new VW commercials?

Hi Folks,

I don't know about you guys but I"m a die hard old bug fan. I just LOVE those cute little old cars! I used to drive one that my father and I restored back when I was in high school. Pic below:



Yes, that was me over 20 years when I was a gangly kid in high school... actually I was heading to college. See all my stuff in the bug and my little Georgia Bulldog stuffed animal? (does anyone else remember a time in their life when everything they owned could fit into an old vw bug?)

Anyway, seeing the new VW commercials with the LOVELY black restored 64 bug that they call Max doing interviews with famous people of German descent has really gottten me going on wanting a bug again. Max is gorgeous!!!!!

Those are great! I like the Heidi Klum commercial where she makes the Beetle blush and it turns red!

YEAH! Max looks great in red. And Heidi's not bad either... if you're a guy (but I'm not).

I've been trolling thesamba.com all week thinking hubby's gonna let me buy and old VW. (He's not... but we all have our little fantasies.... I can't even get a new mandolin out of him.)

I drool over that paint every time I see that those commercials. The paint and lighting is just right. The black looks amazing!
