True story: several years ago a friend of mine was Westminister, CA police officer and he got a call about a robbery at a gun store. When he got there the crooks were on already on the ground, spread eagle. Seems the gunman pulled his hand gun and stuck it in the clerks face, demanding cash. The clerk, a rather sizeable gentleman, observed that the hand gun was, in fact, a BB gun. He practically pulled the punk over the counter taking the gun away from him.

My police officer friend said while it was really hard not to laugh at the doofus over what he did, it was even harder to not laugh seeing the look on his face while everyone was laughing at him.

I saw this on the news... who knows maybe they needed somewhere to stay for a while and thought this would be the easiest way to get a 'free' room and food!?!?

This is sad. But way funny. It reminds me of the guy in Chicago a couple of weeks ago. He went to a muffler shop to rob them. They said we have no money. Come back later. The guy gives them his cell # and says call me when you have money in the register. Well the shop sets its up with the police, who call him and the idiot shows up. These guys are beyond stupid.
