Anyone use or know anything about reverse phone look up? There seems to be a lot of scam alerts on these types of web sites as well as review sites that look phoney to me. Are there any of these sites that are reputable and contain complete and accurate information?Any information on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Reverse Phone Search Service
Yeah, I had to do quite a bit of reverse phone lookup with the watch scam. The best method was searching through the white pages. Sometimes, the town has a phone directory that will list numbers.
Whatever you do, do not use Intelius. It is a scam. Found that out the hard way after they kept charging my bank for $20 increments after the service had been completed.Chris

Re: Reverse Phone Search Service
Well I went ahead and changed my credit card account number, it's something I do ever so often anyway. It's just like reporting them lost or stolen and all the account info and any type of earnings go over to a new account number. (the old number is just no longer valid)
It's been awhile since I changed the one I used for Intelius, so I went ahead and called the credit card company and explained the situation and they just issued a new number. So if they try to bill my card again it won't work.
Thanks for the heads up on them Chris.

Re: Reverse Phone Search Service
We used this to look up a phone number in one of my criminal justice courses. Apparently this kid in one of my classes went to FL for baseball over Spring break, and took down this guy's number thinking he was going to get a potential job. Well it wound up that this stranger that my classmate gave his number to has his own blog - a gay, *** one.

Intelius seemed like an honest service until the additional charges started appearing. Oh well...live and learn...
I thank you again for letting me know the trouble you had with this company. I wouldn't want to deal with trying to get back some unauthorized charges.
