Warning labels of any type or kind, spotless and shiney cars which can be seen from space, telling the service writer or other dealership people not to wash/detail your car for free, does not work. I found the only way to not have extra services done is to tell the service writer, service manager, lot/prep staff and/or Customer Service manager (or some combo of the above) you will give the dealer and service department a poor rating on the CSI phone survey. If this does happen give the poor makes on the CSI survey and the next time you are the staff will bow and kiss your trying to make it up to you for better results. Trust me this works because everyone at the dealership cares about one thing the CSI rating. The sales and service department of a dealership, depend on excellent CSI scores for better allocations, better manufacturer ratings and better warranty claim service.

Remember when you say this to it with kindness as an ounce of kindness will go further then a pound of threats. A word of kindness and donuts/bagels goes even further than a kind words alone. The way to someone's heart is through their stomach.

If this does not work then seek a different dealer as this is dense and I am not sure I want their staff wrenching or otherwise on my car.

    Rant off.
