  • New Painters Tape!

    Hey Everyone,

Saw this last night on the tv show "cool tools" on the DIY network. It is this new painters tape that stretches and curves around edges. Looks perfect for taping around windshields and sunroofs, etc. Thought I would share.

Actually I saw it this morning around 1:30AM. Pretty cool show. The tape seems to work well and has the same glue release time as the blue painters tape.

Thanks for the heads up Andy! That would be very handy if it works. I'm probably going to Home Depot on my lunch hour anyway, I'll see if I can find some.

Sorry didnt read AM, but no chance of seeing it here in England. it would be good to know how it gets on as i still find masking time consuming.

                Re: New Painters Tape!

Sounds like it's made like a crepe paper to get its stretch. Gotta look this weekend as there's a few areas that the blue stuff just can't cope with....the little window washing sprayers on my hood for one. Thanks for the heads up. I'd have never caught it as I have to use parental control lockouts on all the home improvement channels so my wife doesn't get any ideas (for me)

It is made out of something like crepe. Looks like it will work well.
