Same here, even though I have the Norton Anti-Virus (it would keep flagging as a threat just about every time I would visit the site). It's time to to take a break until there is news on here (or elsewhere) that the situation has been resolved.

DavidB was pretty active on the board when he was there and I'm sure he would of dealt with this issue immediately.

They _STILL_ have not repaired their own website?

        That is completely irresponsible.

It's really not that difficult and there are _many_ different options.

The _FIRST_ thing you do is take the site down and put up a splash page explaining the issue. This way you don't jeopardize your own customers safety.

Again... that is the _first_ thing and it should have been done _days_ ago!

                  Re: Autopia Under Hack Attack

Autopia has been slow to do many things such when they did the sw upgrade, changed hosts, etc. It looks like it is a part time job for someone so not getting the attention it needs.

Wow...As soon as I tried to go to the site Firefox blocked the site for me. Good too see a lot of other people are aware and have been!

I agree w/ Bunky. It just hasn't been the same since they switched owners.

Anyone know if they fixed it yet? I assume my firefox will block it until I tell it not too.

Oh and what's with all the _words_ like _this_? Are you trying to emphasize words? That's pretty odd, you usually see CAPS, italics, "quotes", or color used lol.

                        Not fixed yet.

Of the 725 pages we tested on the site over the past 90 days, 375 page(s) resulted in malicious software being downloaded and installed without user consent. The last time Google visited this site was on 2010-09-03, and the last time suspicious content was found on this site was on 2010-09-03.
They seemingly have no concern over this or perhaps lack the expertise to correct it.

You can check this easily as frequently as you want by using this link.

Note that you can check other sites too by simply replacing the site URL at the end of the link. Pretty useful tool.

I'm under the impression that the web browser is getting this info from Google prior to loading the site. So once Google has cleared it, the browser will load it as normal.

"Back in the day" there was no ability to underline anything so the underscore key was used. I do it out of habit and I think it's still easier. CAPs is not emphasizing a word, it's yelling it or "raising your voice" on that word. Slightly different. Quotes would be different as well. Italic's would probably be the closes but I think still slightly different. But to each their own... people understand the meaning none the less.

Looks like Autopia is up and running again. I didn't get any warnings when trying to access the website.
