It was just too much hassle to have employee's and a shop to operate when I had a full time job to be at. I couldn't be there to police them, and make sure everything was going smoothly. It is so much easier now that I've moved everything back home, and just running everything myself. I hated to do it, but my stress level was through the roof!
    Chin up Nick
Any experience you get is good because it will prepare you for the Nxt Shop When things are right. When I went Full time with my shop Auto Shine in 1991- 1998 it was the longest 7 years of my life. I started with 2 bays and 1 helper working 55 hrs wk and at the end was up to 7 bays and 6 employees working 80 hrs and sleeping at the shop 2 nights a week going over work that was done during the day that was not up to my standards. It took about 15 years off my life.It took me 3 years after that to even want to pick up a buffer again and it's fun again.

Nick sometimes having a shop is a pain especially if your employee's need babysitting.
Keeping things small scale (myself) is so much less headache If a job is to much for me to handle alone I'll pass before doing quick work !

Whats even worse is having a partner you have to babysit and go over his work.

Sorry it did not work out that great for you. But your back at home and you will have a lot less aggravation.
