I saw in the detail days thread some of you are from Iowa, My daughter is going to go to William Penn in Iowa. We will be coming out with her for a few day, any sugestions on things to do and or see? We will be flying in wednsday the 19th and leaving the 26th.

I live in Des Moines Iowa....
Not to sure where you are flying in to but the Iowa State Fair is in Des Moines from Aug. 12-22 its a great state fair very large lots to see. Might be something to check out!?!?

the iowa state fair, ditto here, also try the knoxville raceway. yahoo/google the website to check possibility with your dates. about 45 min from oskaloosa. saylorville lake fishing??Comment

I am not farmiliar with oskaloosa but are you staying there?
Might be a good concert at the fair, who knows check it out. In addition to saylorville lake there is also Lake Red Rock near Pella Iowa.
I don't know if you have any younger kids or what ever there is a small amausment park, called Adventuerland, small compared to parks in cali. It too is in Des Moines.
Just trying to toss some ideas out there.Brandon

thanks for th einfo, we are flying in to des moines and then staying in oskaloosa. we arent bringing our other daughter but hopefully we can check out the fair and maybe the raceway.If you dont play you CANT win!Comment
