Since I got the new D/A would it be best to go up to the professional megs product line? Does the D/A work better with the professional line. Or is the DC products not meant for the D/A?

The DC line products and the new ScratchX can be used with a PC.

But yeah, it seems like #80 and #83 are meant to work best with it.

Depends on which product in Pro line. Some of them are intended for 'rotary use only'.

Thanks I will pick up some #80 and #83. I am new to the proline and What does #80 and #83 do to the paint are they a polish or cleaner?

They are cleaner/polishes, so a bit of both.

#80 is mild, kind of the go-to product.
#83 is medium, but about the strongest one would get with a PC.

          And #9/#82 is very mild.

I just did some research on some of the Mirror glaze products.
This is what order i guess you would use these prod.
Number 80 would be first then #7 and last would be #26.
Would that be the order? Or did I miss a product that I should have looked up?

                Is the #16 a sealant?

You can do things a lot of different ways.... the general order would be:

                  #80
                  #7 (optional)
2 coats of your favorite wax.

Then products like #83, #82/#9, #81, etc could be worked in if needed/wanted. But best to stay general your first time. Just focus on #80.

Thanks Murr1525. Any tips on like how long do you stay in one section with the D/A to work the product in?

Well, if you ordered the DVD, that would be the best teacher.

But to try and explain online... you want to work in at least two directions over a 2x2 or so section. And you want to move slow, almost like those slow tai chi or yoga kind of movements. So moving slow in two directions over 2x2 or so area, until the product is a somewhat greasy color..... I've never timed it, but say 45 seconds at least. Feels shorter or longer in different areas, how much product you put down, etc... And it will change some as your pad loads up with product.

I looked at the DVD and I will think about it. Thanks for the quick lesson. I wrote it down in my note book.
                        Thanks Murr1525

Try not to pass up the DVD, Mike does an excellent job of demonstrating the use of several products (including No. 80) to achieve great result using the D.A. You will learn many things and you can view it again, and again.

thanks for the help. I am going to wait on getting the D/A set up because I recently detailed my car and is good for six months. The weather is sucky cold and wet so I am going to wait for it to heat up a bit. I am also restoring my car so for right now I am tide up in all my old car with needing to buy parts. So I guess I will have to wait for a while but the good part is that I will get to use it when my car gets its new paint job and I can't wait to wax my fresh paint with my new D/A.
