Ice, ice, and MORE ice

Well, the weather has been crazy around here. Our first snowfall was last week - nothing like three inches of snow, an inch of sleet, and a quarter inch of ice.

Today, we get the quarter inch of ice...

My Continentals on my car are not very good in the rain and even worse on ice. I procrastinated and thought about waiting until the summer...

Continental is the WORST tire ever for Expeditions.

We got about 17 inches of snow of the weekend, and bummer, more due next Monday and Tuesday.

Wow, 17" is a lot of snow, we've had nothing but sleet and freezing rain since about 3:00 pm today and it's still going strong, I hope I don't lose power... I'm done with winter!

No more snow! I had to shovel my roof off on part of my house today. The back door was binding on top. I figured it could be the weight pushing the header down. Yep, works better already.

I knew Joe was going to post something about all the snow up there...

Anyways, the Expedition and Sable (mine) have Continentals. They're factory and the car just turned 35k miles. The wet traction is horrible and it takes forever for them to hook-up on ice. I'll start a tire thread soon.
