A month ago I did not know that you could polish out the plastic headlight covers on vehicles. This weekend my wife complained that the headlights on her truck did not seem to be as bright as she thought they should and wanted me to check them. The only thing I could find was the plastic covers were pitted and yellowing. I remembered reading a post about polishing the covers so I got out the PlastX and went to work. This morning on the way to work my wife said she came around a curve & three deer were in the road. She swears that if the headlights were as dim as they were last week she would not have seen the deer in time to get slowed down and would have hit them. So thanks to everyone that posts on this forum because you never know when something you post will be used by someone like me that is inexperienced.

      Re: Thanks

Yea, its amazing what polishing the head lights will do for visibility. Idk how some people see after dark just by judging by what I see in parking lots.

Glad the deer are ok, I mean glad she didnt get hurt!

Thank goodness both her and the deer are ok. It's sad when people say they hit a deer or a rabbit.
