Does Meguiars make wax for model cars?

maybe Mike can answer this. Does megs make a model car wax? I have a huge collection of Models and they get scratched when my mom comes in my room and dust them off with a brush.

Good to know that I'm not the only one that does this. I have used the Meguiar's spray waxes with no problems. They obviously won't get rid of the scratches, but they sure do look better. I'm not sure what type of paint they are, maybe ceramic?

So give the spray waxes a try and see if they look any better. I guess you could use a real wax, but I didn't want to spend that much time doing them.

They used to have a kit. I can't find the thread, but it is on here somewhere.

I think they are maybe enamel but could be ceramic. I stated with just one model when I was 6 years old but now I am up to 50 Models. all 1/18 scale. I got some off ebay and just finding the rare ones in the Exotic car model car company. You know any companies that sell 1962 Thunderbird models? I have been unsuccessful in my search.

I've seen the model car kits on ebay from time to time. Seems to me they include #7 and #26, if I remember right. Do a search on ebay and see what comes up.

GMP, I believe. Just smaller bottles of Meguiar's products.

I have a 69 daytona charger model in black. I am going to polish it with DC2 (polish) then hit it with NXT wax and see what happens.

My G/F got me a custom painted Mustang emblem. I put a coat of M07 and M26 on it. Maybe I will have to put some NXT 2.0 on there now!

Meguiar's works great on any paint!

All right I waxed most of my model cars and wow the NXT makes the cars glow. I used it on a variety of colors like mustang Torch red and a black dodge color(Viper). Those two turned out the best. What a difference even on a model car.
My models now have extra depth now and how smooth the paint is.
