Inside the trunk of my car. when you lift up the lid were the hinges are on both sides the paint has been taken off (years of rain) and the base coat (I think the factory primer) is visible. Can I protect it from getting any worse. There is some rust starting were the tailights are attached. Anybody with Mustangs experience the same problems. Plus my car sat outside for most of its life.
