Today was a bad day in the car world for me. I was happy to be elected for council in a student group I was in and heading to one of our first meetings when I got in this accident. Anyone who knows the area in or around the beltway around D.C. or the University of Maryland area will tell you the traffic is crazy. So I was minding my business and coming to a stop when in my rear view mirror a grand marquis sitting on spoked 21's is barreling down the road and I knew what was coming. The next thing I know Im piled into and my truck skids forward. I get out and my whole back bumper is mangled along with a portion of the tailgate and side rear panel. AND I HAD JUST CLAYED AND WAXED IT! anyway everyone is alright, his car was obliterated, thank God for riding higher in a small truck otherwise it could have been worse. Just thought I would vent a little, thanks for hearin me out ahahah

Re: Bad day
AAAAAWWWWW, man that's too bad (Edit:Inapropriate word removed) . I have not gotten into an accident yet but i have had a few close calls. I always say,"if i ever get into an accident with my car, i sure hope i die in it", because i could never stand getting out of my car and looking at it, just sitting there, a pile of shinny metal
. Hope your car gets fixed with no problems, good luck.

Re: Bad day
I commute to College Park from Clarksville actually real close to Ellicott City, I was still able to drive it, it wasnt too bad, its mainly the bumper and tailgate, but Ill be gettin it fixed up here in Clarksville, Im not going to drive it until then though just incase the frame is bent but I doubt it is.I'm addicted to cars...I'm thinking about checking into the Henry Ford clinic. - Tim Allen, Home Improvement

Re: Bad day
just a thought..... maybe cover the rest of ur truck w/ news paper/old sheets and masking tape be4 u let them do the body work to avoid overspray and tell them not to detail any other part of the truck besides the part they are fixing be a good idea?

Re: Bad day
Sorry to hear about that. I have been hit by a deer on my motorcycle and that hurt pretty bad. I been in some very close calls. I also treat my car like a person and I get upset at my self when anything happens to my Mustang.Alex
