Do you have a real "bug" problem? With my car, especially after my car is just washed, I seem to get at least half of the flying neighborhood bug population wanting to land on my car. I dry it off and look away for a second, then when I turn back there are dozens of 'spots' on my car that turn out to be insects that were attracted to the finish.

Since our cars are similar colors, I wondered if you had the same problem.

(and I don't want a smart-alec in the peanut gallery saying the bugs are attracted because my car is a piece of sh*t )

I'm in South Florida and I have the same exact problem with my yellow Mach 1. The small black bugs (gnats) are attracted only after I finish washing the car, although they're worse before I have dried it. Don't understand why it is worse after the wash. Could it be the color and moisture? Any entomologists on board???

Bugs are thinking they died and went to heaven.

I think this goes beyond yellow cars. I have a red ranger that constantly is being landed upon by gnats. I think it might be something in the wax you use (#26 smells like radioactive banannas).
I sometimes judge people by the cleanliness of their car.

Yeah, I think it's scents in car wash and wax. I have the same problems after a wash and after a wax. None of my cars are yellow. Sometimes the bugs almost look like they are trying to eat the car.

Same here in Arizona. My driver car is red and it's bad enough. Our orange Camaro is even worse. It will even attract bee's.

Half way through the extreme makeover on the 1975 yellow Corvette, we pushed it outside to inspect some of our results. First thing I noticed was a number of bugs had landed on the finish. It did seem out of the normal.
