well today I had a pretty scarry day driving my motorcycle. it all started in the morning when in a car in front on me (2 seconds) almost hits two deer at once and that got my heart rate going. Later I was heading over to my friends house late in the day when I went over a blind hill when I see this big Dodge 2500 Diesel do a California roll right through the stop sign, never doubled checked. she never accelerated and I locked up my front and rear brake but quickly released and re applied them. i did a quick swerve to the right and missed her left rear quarter panel by inches. Note this she was doing a left hand turn.you may diagree with me but it would be her fault if I hit her. That made me piss in my pants. not being stereo typical and all but she is a blond. My high school friend. I think she does not know the demensions, like really how big the truck is.

Re: An eventful day
California, Florida, Oklahoma - doesn't matter where you live it's the same violation for the one driving the truck. DWHUA - Driving With your Head Up your A#%.A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Re: An eventful day
It's scary when people don't notice you, isn't it? I had a moment the other day when I thought a lady was going to pull out in front of me in her Jeep. She was starting to pull out because she didn't see me, but as soon as I hit my horn she looked again and saw me and stopped. That made me rather nervous, though.
You said you locked up your rear brake, then quickly released and reapplied them? Did that make your motorcycle fishtail any? In my motorcycle class they said it would, but I've seen people do it without any problem.Lydia's Mobile Detailing

I hope it will also remind people to look twice before they pull out, and to watch out for other vehicles, including motorcycles.Lydia's Mobile Detailing
