  • Question

I know that it may seem like a dumb question but is it okay to never strip off the old wax and keep doing the 5 step process of washing, cleaning, ploishing, waxing and maintianing. will there be a difference if i strip off the old wax ever time i wash and do the other steps.

    Re: Question

    1. Claying and using a paint cleaner, even a mild one like DC#1, is the safe way to remove old wax.
So every time you do the 5 steps, even with a cleaner/wax, you are removing the old wax.

2, If clay and DC#1 wont remove the old wax (not that there is any way to really tell), then leave it, it is doing a darn good job.

The difference will be that you will spend all your weekends detailing and never actually get to drive it
