A worker looks at a damaged Ferrari Enzo worth $1.5 million Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at the Irwindale Speedway in Irwindale, Calif. Actor-comedian Eddie Griffin crashed the rare Ferrari Enzo into a concrete barrier while practicing Monday for a charity race to promote his upcoming film, 'Redline.' He was not hurt.

You just never know! I would guess if the movie did well a new car could easily be purchased.

i heard anybody cant just buy a new enzo, you need premission from ferarri. And him crashing his enzo wont make me want to see the movie any more than before. besides, that looked to be like a case of under steer, he could have been seriously hurt, i dont think it was a stunt at all.

It wasn't HIS Enzo, it was his bosses. I can pretty much assure you it was not a publicity stunt. You don't take a 1.5 million dollar car (of which only a few hundred were made) and crash into a wall just to get someone to come watch your movie. It just doesn't happen. That's my .02 cents.

Wow, he was going much faster than when I first saw the clip on tv. What a shame.

You would think that they would have these non-professional drivers just practice on the oval before they went thru the cones.

                    Re: Oops!

Can you say under steer! He was going in way to hot, he should have felt it out first before going in that fast. It's better to be conservative than going all out, gradually building up your speed. Thats a darn shame, a lot of Enzos are unfortunately getting wrecked.
