I picked up the last piece of the puzzle last night...

Well I bought my generator last night. Last piece of my 100% mobile detailing puzzle. I was starting to run low on cash from buying all of this equiptment(extractor, water tank, pressure washer, etc...), but got a decent deal on a used 5000w Coleman unit. A little bigger than I wanted, but I got it for a better price than anything else I could find. So I figure more is better than less.

I have to say though...If anyone is thinking about starting thier own business, auto detailing is the way to go. I've got all of my equiptment supplies and a dedicated company vehicle for under $15k(although I shopped around to find the best deals that I could find). This has got to be one of the cheapest companies to start up. I am so excited to get the ball rolling with this! And at the perfect time of year too!

Now to mount all of this stuff in the van!

Thanks guys! I've been doing this out of the trunk of my car for some time now. But I finally made the jump into the van. Got really tired of loading and unloading everything when I had a vehicle to do. It was kind of frustrating....especially when I forgot something at the house! This way I can have everything with me, including 90 gallons of spot free filtered water I'm really excited about getting everything set up.

Nick, are you going to the detailing seminar this weekend in Ontario?

Can't think of a better investment, the focus will be on working smarter, not harder and that's where most detailing business need the most help... especially when starting up.
