Good luck with your future endeavors, Mike! You have been a great asset to the forum! I don't really understand whether or not you are leaving Meguiar's, but I'm sure I'll understand better in your post Friday.

All of this is a testament to you and what you have achieved at Meguiar’s. The trust and respect of all of those here is something that you will take with you to SCG, and I hope that the others, like myself, will go over to SCG and join as I do not plan to turn my back on a resource just because they are no longer at MOL, well may be I would if you went to Mothers.

As I stated to you in a prior posting, I am "looking forward to bigger and better things" in the future. I know that I am not the first, and I know I will not be the last to say Meguiar’s is losing a great resource and I wish you well over at SCG.

Mike, best of luck in your new opportunity, and may God continue to bless you and watch over you! I was lucky enough to attend a Saturday class and two Wednesday night open garages. Seeing you in action makes me know for sure that whatever you choose to do, you will be nothing but a success!!

I'm new here as well and read most if not all your posting. Wish I had gotten a chance to take a Saturday class with Mike before he left.

If you are involved with a PC and a car, we will still benefit from your teachings. I had hoped to come down and do a Wed night class or something prior to you leaving seen as you guys don't want to come up here and teach us here in Yreka, CA (c'mon theres 7,000+ in our quaint little town!! LOL).

Here's the skinny...

As of today I have resigned from my employment with Meguiar's Inc. I will be staying on until Friday to help the people that will be taking my place learn to take over the Admin functions I currently perform. Beginning Friday afternoon I will be doing the same job I have always performed for Meguiar's, that is answering how-to questions, writing articles and teaching classes only I will be doing these things on my own forum and at my own show approximately 14 miles North of Meguiar's Irvine location.

I have often times in my life in posts on various forums stated that I am in this for the long run... this is a true statement.

I'll post a more organized and formal post before the end of day on Friday.

I wish you all the best in your new endeavor. I know you are following your heart and doing what you feel is right for you and yours. Undoubtedly, Meguiar's has lost a great asset and a great person. These forums won't be the same without you.
