I was at the auto show yesterday and I saw some really nice cars. Some really nice cars with horrible swirls. There were soo many swirls even on cars that you werent even allowed to touch lol. All the cars we have combined dont even have the amount of swirls as most of those show cars There were some people (workers) walking around cleaning cars and they had a Meguair's badge on them too. It didnt look like they were doing a good job because I followed one and she left swirls all over the car.

Same here at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The most humorous case being the roped off Maybach Exelero - here are some stock images of the car:

They had a guy in a white lab coat with a feather duster and microfiber towel buzzing around this thing constantly, making very dramatic movements as he first dusted, then wiped, always dry, not a bottle of quick detail spray to be found. It's as if he was putting on a show, massaging this beauty in front of an audience. I even heard people comment on his seemingly choreographed movements. Below are some pictures I took of the car at the show - remember, this is a one of a kind Maybach show car!

There was no hope of getting a full shot of this car, it's huge and there wasn't room to get far enough away to fit it all in the shot.

Yes, this is a close up the condition of the paint on this stunning car!!! Ahhhhhh, my eyes, my eyes!!!

Yup exactly what Im talking about if not worse on almost every single car. Surprisingly I found that some automakers did not have a single swirl on any car. Example the Toyota/Lexus/Scion exhibits, not a single swirl on any car cept some of the scions where you can sit in. Thats probably because of people looking at the cars and rubbing up against them in their clothes. I was in shock when I saw Bentlys, Lambos, Audis, Benzs (SLR was on the floor!) all covered in swirls. My paint looks better than those cars that have never even seen the road.
