Wow! Vintage Meguiar's Sold for $511

I was watching this 4 bottle combo in thoughts of purchasing, I did see Joe sneaking some bids in there.

It's great to see bottles in great condition sell like this, Meguiars is really a historical phenomenon

I just checked the buyers history on ebay......he/she has been buying up a lot of vintage waxes lately, but none for anywhere near this price. And he's in Fullerton, CA, just up the road from Meguiar's and not far at all from where I lived up until a few months ago, and quite close to Paul (The Other PC).

The real value was in the car wash, which I haven't seen in anyone's collection.

I was watching this auction as I wanted to pick it up as a gift for someone as I know he didn't have the car wash in his collection, but once it hit $100, I said "way too rich for me."

I really dig the old style bottles. I'd love to see something like that (except in plastic). They really look classy.
