I see a DA backing plate, but I also see a w7006 maroon pad, now keep in mind the 7006 is not intended to be used with anything other than a rotary buffer, just letting you know

Oh no, I'm glad you pointed that out! I think I'll be returning that and the bonnets I mistakingly got in the wrong size in exchange for some more 9006 or 8006 pads. Thanks for the good eye!

And speaking of DA, I just go an email saying my "How to use a PC" dvd was just delivered! Yay....now if the weather just stays nice...

I'm off to Big Lots after work for that wheel brush!

Alright, just got my wheel brush for $3 and the versa-angle wide body brush for $10 at Big Lots MAN, those brushes are SO soft! I'm a happy camper now! Check your local store for clearance items.....you never know.

If you read around, you will find that the w7006 pad is for removing/buffing off waxes with a MF bonnet.

Do you have the g100 or porter-cable machine?

Ahhhh, yes. I ordered the wrong bonnets by mistake from meguiar's online store....I didn't realize the ones I got were too big. Mike Phillips does state to use the 7006 pad with the Gold Class Bonnets. Problem is I didn't realize I had gotten the bonnet for the 9" pad....when I actually have the 6.5" pad. I can't seem to find the correct Gold Class bonnets, but I did find some on ADS that would fit.
