Hmmmmm......SoCal has nasty traffic, just like every other major metropolitan area in the country (or world for that matter) yet we never get snowed in. Oh, sure, we get a few days of rain and there are plenty of people with no clue how to drive in the stuff, but when we have issues HERE it doesn't impact people THERE.
Who's bright idea was it to put a major air hub in a city that is prone to annual snow burial anyway?????

Its odd how people who frequently get snow hate it and those who never get snow want it so badly. Here we never get just snow...if we get winter precip its always ice. I have the bent wheels to prove it.

We get a little snow as compared to other parts of the country... I like snow but the main reason I don't like to see it is my truck, its not a good experience driving in snow.
If I really miss the snow I can just drive up to the local mountains about an hour away, play for a while, ski, whatever, and then drive home where it's safe, warm and dry.
And go to the beach the next day.
So we have some traffic. Big deal.

Depends how long one spends in the mountains. Remember, the days are pretty short right now even though we just passed the solstice and have, effectively, reached bottom. So to speak.

Never snows in Texas. It snowed ONCE so far in my lifetime and it wasn't even an inch. You had to scrape snow from every single place on the street just to make a medium sized snowball. And even then it wasn't enough!
It was just 76 to 80 degress like last week. Sheesh!
