              Ouch. I tried that stuff out once, and it is seriously like sand...it didn't really remove oxidation (what I bought it for) but it made terrible swirls. I can't imagine how awful the swirls must have been after using it with a scotchbrite pad!


              I like how at the bottom he says to use "Meguires".

                The recomendation to use a clay bar instead is also interesting... since they do two different things...

                    He used a green 3m pad. Thats like #360 sand paper.

                      He could have done the billy backyard budget color sand special---softscrub & a sponge--- then a pass w/DC2, top it w/DC3 & show me the $$$. LOL

                            Clay bars don't have a grit rating, they do not remove paint.

                            I have actually used that stuff back in the day and it isn't bad IF you know what you're doing. By hand you'll remove the scratch as good as scratchX would, but then you will also have scratches instilled that will need removal from scratchX afterwards. So, either apply one product (scratchX) or two products (TW Compound and then ScratchX). After this "experiment" I truly understood why ScratchX is touted by the Meguiar's camp.
