Quads/ATV Recommendations? (For kids)

Any ATV/Quad Gurus out there?

We're thinking of getting our 7 year old son a 4-wheel Quad and we're looking at all the options and were wondering if anyone on the forum was into Quads and might have some insight and/or some recommendations.

I pretty much spent my entire childhood glued to the seat of mine. I started out on my dad's three wheeler when I was 7 years old. Got my own quad when I was 14. I haven't ridden much in the last 8-10 years, so I don't know much about the newer models. My parents bought a new Yamaha last year and I love it. I just went online and checked out the Yamaha Raptor 50 & 80. The both look pretty nice. They both have a throttle limiter, that would be a good thing. Look for full floor boards, back when I started they just had a little foot peg for your foot, I ran over my own ankle many times. Do you have a quad? If you have any questions, ask away.
