Speaking of M16

So much talk lately regarding M16 Professional Paste Wax got me thinking, is it still being manufactured? (but not SOLD in the US) Or are the supplies found elsewhere around the world just old stock? Just curious...

It's still being manufactured and sold overseas, it doesn't meet VOC regulations to be sold in Orange County, California which has the most stringent VOC regulations in the United States. Currently all Meguiar's products sold in the U.S.A. meet or exceed VOC regulations for Orange County, California which means all products being sold in the U.S.A. meet or exceed all VOC regulations for the U.S.A.

My guess is other countries outside the U.S.A. have less, and in some cases little or no regulations in this area.

So with this in mind. Is #16 being manufactured here is the states THEN exported to other areas?

Don't have the exact answer to this but our manufacturing plant is in Tennessee, so likely the answer is yes. If it's important to you to be able to purchase M16 in the U.S.A, then you'll need to contact the government and work with them to roll-back the changes.

Hmm Tenn. u say???? hhmmmm I only live like 3 hours away.... hhhmmm "Yes Im a worker at this facility...cough cough"... lol Im jk I would never do suh thing unless I was car crazy.... ok maybe I wont or even think about that... but if u ask me thats pretty messed up, why not sell it everywhere but Cali... I hate to say this but Cali always has to be different.... Im trying to step on any toes here and Im sorry if I do, cause I really dont mean too

If you need M16 that much, keep an eye out on the For Sale section or E-Bay its a frequent product on both sections, and check your local Marine Supply shop. West Marine stopped selling it online, but some stores could still have it.

I picked mine up from a nice guy on these forums, I later went to Oreillys auto parts and asked about some 16, they had two tins in the back. I didnt buy them, figures someone else needed em more than I did.
