    Re: I want some #16!

I wonder if it would be better to have one oversea's shipment made to the US. Then someone in the US send them to the other people that want them in the US. Just a thought. If anyone wants to try some, drive over to Green Bay, WI and I'll let you use my can...

I do like #21 (got a nice big gallon of it in the garage) but they're different products, so went for the look.

Or if you mean #16, not #7 i've found that #16 lasts a bit better.

Alex7938, I would love to order some.. I think I've tried every wax that Meguiar's makes except for that one, so let me know when you get some more of the #16, I'm dying to try it out...

A couple of weeks ago a can sold on ebay for fully double that price. Pretty amazing!

Totally and completely different animals - it's like comparing zebras to monkeys. #7 is a pure polish designed to do nothing more than add beauty to the look of the paint. No abrasives so it won't remove defects, and no wax or sealant so it won't protect. It will actually wash off pretty quickly which is why it is usually recommended that a wax or sealant be applied over it. #21 is an awesome synthetic sealant that lasts a long time, protects the paint, and provides a deep gloss.

This is correct. The new VOC regulations took effect on January 1st, 2005. Meguiar's did not stockpile any of this product prior to the deadline so all that was in inventory up until this date is all that was left for resell inside the U.S.

                All that's left is Pre-VOC M16

I don't believe there is, #16 was just put out of production and the excess stock was still available for retail sale. If it was a ban, I'm sure it would be pulled from shelves and use would be illegal

                        Re: I want some #16!

#16 is good, but I find #21 is just as good, and easier to take off.

I'm not underpinning the greatness of 16, but I think some of the hype has to do with it being discontinued and more of a collectors item rather than an actual tin of wax.

To be honest I use 21 topped by 16! Looks awesome on black.

Seems like #16 is still sold here in Norway... I might have to try it out.

How do I use it with NXT products?
