AWESOME. Is there going to be one for the Christmas season?

This is getting tougher and tougher to do. I was kind of thinking this was going to be the last one. Nobody is giving anymore.


I'd do another shipment in a second if I thought we could pull it off -WHO IS IN?

Mr. Fernandez,

Hello from Fallujah Iraq, just wanted to drop you a line and let you know your packages arrived today.

I travel six days a week around my area of operation, and as usual I will take some the packages and pass them to our warriors.

I truly thank you for the support and effort it took to send all of these, so as I said, I will personally deliver them to the 5,400 Marines, Sailors and Soldiers of Regimental Combat Team-1.

What are some of the items that you received that were most popular?

aww man we loved the goodie packages with just random stuff like the easy mac was real good and popular and a few poeple would get the little portable burners and we would have a little cook out in peoples rooms. You cant go wrong with snacks ( cheese its, sunflower seads ect) lol. depending on what your job was and where you are stationed its hard to get that stuff. like for me i was infantry and we only got to go into the safer bases that had stored set up maybe once every few months so getting that stuff was great. Movies are good to but out there we can buy them from the iraqs for about a dollar a dvd so most of the guys stack up on them pretty quick. it was just nice to know we had peoples support out there.

Hey guys i would like to thank you all for sending care packages out to the troops. I was out there from Jan 2004 to Feb 2005 and getting stuff like that and letters was always like another christmas for us and it helps restore moral and i know we would have loved to thank everyone personally for supporting us. I am now out of the service but i still highly respect those i see suporting those still out there. Thank you

I am still doing this.

Every Summer and Winter I send a few goodies out.

This June is my next shipment.
