When do you all put up outside Christmas lights?

4. Do not put them up
5. Leave up year round

Getting that time! I usually put them up in late October. Weather is still nice.
I would rather sweat than freeze. For you warm state people that means below 50.

I never do. I am wired different. I think it makes Christmas and everything about it cheap and Las Vegas like.

The "boss" makes me get a tree every year but I have her tone down with all the lights. We try to dress it up classy and old fashion.

I usually put up icicle lights in November and that's about it. The neighbor's really enjoy the lights, especially the kids and senior citizens. I don't use the 8' Snowman or Santa Claus like some folks do. I keep it simple so it's easier to take down in January.

Usually sometime between Thanksgiving and two weeks before Christmas. Just moved into a new house though so I sorta need to rethink the light plan for this year - after six years in the old house I had it down cold. Now, not so much.

We used to go all out and decorate the house windows, many trees around the house, and even along the driveway. But since my brother and I (me being the youngest at 22) have gotten older and the trees are tall enough where you can't reach them anymore, we don't do much for lights. Not sure if I could put up lights without snow though, that would just seem odd (to me anyway).

around our house we are not big fans of going out the Friday after thanksgiving to start our x-mas shopping. So instead thats the day that we put up all our decorations. Inside and out.

I never use outside christmas lights.
Only the tree gets some light and the tree gets here around Christmas (two days in advance or so).

This year we have Thanksgiving at our place. Our Great Nephew who's 2 will be there. I am rigging up a switch so he can turn on the lights for the first time.
Ought to be fun.
