What is the best windshield wiper fluid? Are there any additives that yall would suggest to go along with that fluid?

Re: Winshield Wiper fluid
I have tried RainX's additive and wasn't impressed... you add it to the blue stuff and all I could get it to do is haze the windshield. So I went back to straight blue.
I do have some Turtle Wax 'Bug Juice' I bought on sale a few weeks ago, I am going to try soon.Brandon

Whatever you get, make sure the fluid doesn't "eat away" the paintwork.

Re: Winshield Wiper fluid
since I have my black car it doesnt go out to play in the rain, and if it happens to be out and it starts to rain, then the rain water is all it gets, the windshield never gets dirty enough to where I would have to use something else

This isnt for me. I never use the windshield wiper fluid because it streaks and just moves the dirt. Its for my brother.'00 Audi A4 1.8 T

Another brand that I have had success with is Rain-X. You might want to try that also.
Between the two brands, I have not had either freeze in my reservoir or on the windshield.

Re: Windshield Wiper fluid
Prestone Bug Wash for me. The bugs here are horrific and this stuff works great. Has a nice "Pine" scent as well. The only problem here is that this stuff is popular.I usually have to stash a couple of gallons in my storage shed just in case.
