What a bunch of junk. The plastic trim on the jeep is not that great. Also not that old. It is an 01 Cherokee. So Meguiars does not have anything like it (that I know of) So I tried the Mothers back to black. I think I paid $5 for a small can of Armour All. 2 coats so far and it does not look any better. Good thing I always try new stuff on the jeep first.

The Meguiars trim products certainly dont claim to be permanent, but last a while. The other companies products that claim to be permanent barely last at all.

I didn't know Meguiars made a trim product?

I use Mothers Back to Black on my Cobalt mirrors. I know they are new but I like the shine it gives them.

I use these on my cars and they work wonders. The shine doesn't last forever, but when you treat them and keep them clean, they will stay nice and dark. You can always add more to make them shine again. Nothing ever lasts forever as far as detailing goes. That is why we keep washing and detailing our cars when they need it.

There is also #40 Vinyl/Rubber Dressing, All-Season Dressing, Hyper-Dressing, and at least a couple others that escape me...

Oops...I forgot about those. Need to get me some ASD for my engine bay.

Dave, B2B is a trim restorer, not a trim dressing. You need to rub it in with a cotton towel, and over time it will restore your trim. Think of it as the trim equivalent of a paint polish. After polishing, you need to protect the paint with a wax. After using B2B you need to use a quality dressing, like the ones mentioned above. I've used #40 with good success.

You can also use Natural Shine too.... I like it.
