  • New tire advice needed please.

It's time for new tires on my 1999 SAAB 9-3 SE. Does anyone have any experience with any of the following tires ?
    Bridgestone Potenza G009

    Kumho Ecsta AST

    Goodyear Eagle Responseedge

    Hankook Ventus H405

I'm open to other suggestions for a good, performance oriented all season tire for a wet climate with a little snow (Vancouver).

    Thanks

For the money the Falken Ziex 512 is very hard to beat. It is not an awesome snow tire (so I've heard) but is great in the wet and really nice in the dry. The price is pretty amazing too. I have this tire on two cars and several friends have them on their cars as well.

I'd go with the Kumho ECSTA ASX, not the AST or the Bridgestone G009. Clearly the Kumho is a bargain with great handling as good as or better thatn any in your list.

Thanks guys- I have the Ziex 512 on my Integra- was good for first year or so, then the wet traction seemed to fade. I also don't like the way the tread was rounded at the edge instead of a more square design. I don't know if it affects traction at all, but this is a site for people who are obsessed about how their car looks !!!
