Yeah, it's unfortunate that certain individuals use their computing prowess for mailicious purposes. Though, the avatars was a hint of a security issue. I think that I posted the reason/fix for it.

For those that don't know what happened, you don't WANT to know. Childish and a waste of the human brain's capabilities.

MOL is back though and, welll. I MISSED IT! I forget my question for Sneek though...I'll remember it eventually.

So glad to have MOL back

But why someone would get a kick out of annoying hundreds of detailing geeks on this forum is beyond me

I have the same issue. If I'm logged in i can't see current topics, if I'm logged out it works... Also there seems to be two different versions of the frontpage one is "meguiarsonline.com" the other is "www.meguiarsonline.com". They give me different stats e.g. number of new posts, and it seems I can be logged in to one, while being logged out from the other (at the same time)... Hope that last sentence makes sense

Eh, I can't seem to reproduce the above issue with the two frontpages, maybe it was a cache issue... But in the meantime the window of time for editing that post has run out... Now I need to stop spamming this thread

Re: Welcome back, pardon our dust!

Looks good! I didn't realize how much I visited MOL until it wasn't online. I'd go to check it when I got a little spare time and it wasn't working. I'm glad it's back online!!

I love the quick reply and quick edit thing! It's very handy!! Also, it's nice to be able to rest my mouse (for lack of a better description) over the thread title and see a little preview of it pop up. The only thing I don't care for a lot is the little icon beside the post (the little envelope thing that shows whether or not you have read/replied to the post). That's just personal preference, though. Other that that it's AWESOME!!

What is the little green dot underneath our post number all about?

                    I was wondering that myself.

It detects if you are a Meguiar's user. If you use some Zaino and are currently converting your supply to Meguiar's then you have a yellow dot. If you are an all-out, 'Z-head' then you receive a red dot.

Very cool forums. Glad to be a part of it.

The little green/yellow/red squares under our info in the top right hand corner is our rep points. Most all vBulliten forums have rep. Like somebody's post, give 'em positive rep. Dislike it, give 'em negative rep. Simple as that.

So what are the blue dots for?

Oh, never mind. I bet it is green if you are on-line and blue if your off-line.

                            LOL.

I just noticed a little problem. When I am in my User CP and I go to click on the link to the forums (in the grey bar across the top) it is a dead link. It only happens when I am in my User Control Panel.

Is it just me or is the edit (one of your own posts) feature now gone? I spotted a typo I want to fix but I can't seem to find the edit button!

EDIT: Hmm...it works for this post...I am at work now (shhh!) and was trying to edit a post I made earlier today at home...which still doesn't work....hmmm....

its only available for a short time 15min or something like that... then the 'edit' button disappears. I asked about extending the edit time but I guess some had been taking advantage of the extended edit time.
