My Labor Day weekend... some pics..
Some may remember my pics from last Memorial Day weekend... our cabin pics. Up in the Sierras here in CA bordering Nevada.
We went to our cabin up in Sierra City for the 3 day weekend. Heres some nice pics we took.. about half of these are taken by my 7yr old daughter. She must have taken about 60-70 photos while we were there. Pretty good little photographer.. deffinately has an eye for nice shots.
Sand Pond
We hiked down to this stream.. about 30mins hike from the cabin.
Nice swim pool.
We let the dogs get in.
My daughter took these..
We went fishing and this sucker slithered right by her feet and into the water... we were on some rocks. It hung out by where we were, I think it was a she and had a nest or something nearby. It stayed about 2ft from us.. and just watched us while we fished. No aggression at all.. seemed curious.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaand.... since the wife was back at the cabin napping.. Madelynn and I decided to test out the new Mazda. Did quite well on a 4x4 road.. I didnt realize it but this thing is ideal for a little off roading. Short wheelbase.. V6.. 4x4.. decent ground clearance.

You shouldve seen the look on her face when she walked around back and saw the wheel off the ground. "Mom is NOT gonna like this!"
