  • Well here we go again..

We have been in a drought for the past several months, now it's non stop rain. 5 inches in the last two nights.
Tornado warning now to my north. I'm safe for now. My newly waxed car (with 21) is taking a beating. Still beading but starting to flatten out. might need a boat before long....

That ***** man. There is rain all around me right now, but none has fallen here since yesterday. I just got done detailing my sister's Ford Taurus out today. I have been working on it since yesterday morning and I'm beat. I told her to keep it out of the rain for at least twelve hours so the NXT can fully setup. She even called me a few minutes ago and asked if it was raining out my house. She needed to come over and wanted to make sure it was clear of any rain. Be safe and watch out for the "funnels". If you hear a siren, hit the basement.

Bet you are beat. Know the feeling.
Had a funnel touch down to the NE of me about 5 miles. Lots of rain, having some flash flooding.

Today was the first day since August 5th for me when the temp didnt clear 100. Right now I'm celebrating the rain!

Ah the return of the detailing season!

It was nice to have the temperature stay well below 100 today. It was still humid as hell so it made it feel like a 100, but the temperature was reading 90. The clouds make a nice break from the sun and a decent breeze has been blowing. Had to get my trusty fan out to keep me cool during the detail though.
