  • Flyers at shows??

Dont know if you guys have this problem in the US, but in the UK if you leave your car at a show you end up with hundreds if flyers under your wipers.

Now i'm of the opinion that if i want something i'll look for it then buy, i dont want it shoved on my car.

And the complete waste of paper

IN searching the net for something to stop this (i found a nice South African flame thrower kit, Hmmmmm lol) i found this, but hav'nt seen it in the store here?

That happens quite a bit on this side of the pond as well. What disturbs me the most about it though is how many of these flyers ultimately end up just blowing in the wind, making an unsightly mess. I've always felt the group who leaves these things should be fined by the local municipality if "x" number are discovered blowing through town.

I'm all for advertising, free enterprise, the pursuit of the almighty dollar, etc. etc., but come on!

I get a pile in my car every time. I worry about the possiblity of the ink somehow getting wet and running onto my fabric...Or people maybe scratching the car leaning in to put them on the seat...I would really prefer they didn't do this-you'd think "car people" would get it...

We don't have this problem in Wyoming. We have an open carry law and concealed firearms permits are available to all adult non criminals.

You just can't believe how polite everyone is when they're all packin'!

I like the idea. Im working on my next alarm system, it shocks anyone who touches the car. No more flyers and no more handprints from other people.
